The ECS board I recieved is working as expected. I've been using the Tornado II pro for the last two years as a daily rider to and from work, around town and for groceries, for just over 1000 miles in total. It's been amazing for all of that! However, I noticed some "glitches" in the system that might be worth looking at: right around the 1year mark i noticed i was randomly losing power to a wheel, or having 50% power to both wheels. This grew in frequency until using the board was unsafe. Every time this happened, I was able to "reset" the board by picking it up in a vertical position, pushing to full throttle then stopping the wheels before laying the board back down. This "fix" told me that the ECS was failing, either do to heat issues or vibration (my assumption would be vibration). I would love for these issues to be sorted out as I have already seen the lesser form of these glitches in the new ECS. it is for safety reasons I bring these issues up as they can happen at any speed, and have caught me off guard. Otherwise I'm very happy with the board and will continue to use and recommend Skatebolt

Tech support was absolutely fabulous, so helpful n forth coming with tips n knowledge to make my repair seam simple n smooth getting me back out on my board to really enjoy life. I converted my favorite board with parts from a water-damaged older model Tornado Pro (the board was almost fully submerged for several minutes:). The esc works excellent with the new setup. I just had to pair a different remote.

The upgrade is awesome better battery life, faster for sure.
Not exactly plug and play with older skateboltz but five extra minutes and you are flying. Great product.

I love the new ESC but I advise putting heavier capacitors in and heavier connectors. This thing does seem kinda small for what I'm wanting out of it.. This is what happened to my last esc. The connectors just melted.. I'm considering replacing with a different ESC if anyone has any suggestions.
